Hearth & Scent has made the returns procedure as easy as lighting a candle. Read the steps below to send your candle back to us; depending on the issue, we will offer an exchange or a full refund. No questions or awkward conversations- just a smooth, fast resolution, whatever the issue may be.
Changed your mind?
You have 14 days from receiving your order to let us know that you'd like to return it.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your candle should be unused and in its original condition and packaging. Please take care when handling your candle before deciding whether to keep it, as we may reduce a refund if an item has been used or damaged beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect it.
How to arrange a return

Your name
Order number
The item you'd like to return
Whether you'd like a refund or, where applicable, an exchange
2. We'll confirm your return
We'll reply with the return instructions and the address to send your candle to.
3. Send it back
Please package the candle securely, ideally using the original packaging, to help prevent damage during its journey back to us.
For a change-of-mind return, return postage is your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping your proof of postage until your return has been completed.
4. Your refund
Once your returned candle has arrived safely, we'll process your refund within 7 days.
Your refund will be made to the original payment method.
